'Missing Crown Prince' Episode 20: Choi Sang Rok Dies Amid War With Lee Geon

Lee Geon ascended to the throne as the new king and made a plan to punish the evildoers. Choi Myung Yoon (Hong Ye Ji) had decided to end her father-daughter relationship with Choi Sang Rok (Kim Ju Hun).

Nevertheless, Min Soo Ryeon (Myung Se Bin) had a secret affair with Sang Rok.

As the story progressed, Prince Doseong's revolt took place. At the scene of chaos, Lee Geon found Min Soo Ryeon and Choi Sang Rok.

Unfortunately, Sang Rok was already fatally wounded.

At Lee Geon's order, Min Soo Ryeon left the palace and she was beheaded. After sorting out the situation, Lee Geon handed over the throne to Prince Doseong (Kim Min Gyu) and left for the countryside where Choi Myung Yoon lived. 

Lee Geon Exits From the Palace to Marry Choi Myung Yoon

Min Soo Ryeon, who was pregnant, met Myung Yoon and asked for forgiveness, and immediately after giving birth to Sang Rok's child, she also asked for an apology from Lee Geon and died.

After some time, Lee Geon and Choi Myung Yoon along with Gap Seok (Kim Seol Jin), Mu Baek (Seo Jae Woo), and Oh Wol (Kim No Jin) scolded the inspectors with the maps they brought from the palace, and filed an appeal against them, causing a headache for Prince Doseong. 

In addition, Lee Geon and Choi Myung Yoon opened a clinic and continued their happy married life raising their own children and Min Soo Ryeon's children together.

Then, Hae Jong (Jeon Jin Oh) and Jung Jeon, who came to see their grandchild, and Prince Doseong, who came to complain to Lee Geon, all gathered to create a happy ending.

'Missing Crown Prince' Episode 20 Records Drama's Highest Viewership Rating

According to Nielsen Korea on June 16, after concluding episode 20, MBN's fantasy-romance drama "Missing Crown Prince" successfully recorded its highest viewership rating of 5.1 percent, marking the fourth consecutive episode for which the series hit a new personal record. 

Suho and Hong Ye Ji's first drama team-up concluded with an impressive mark.
