"Hierarchy" has sustained its standing on Netflix following its debut on June 7.

For almost 3 weeks, the teen mystery crime K-drama has maintained its lead in the platform's top 10.

In a report by streaming aggregator service, Flix Patrol, "Hierarchy" remained in 4th place in the Netflix global top 10 TV shows. Next to "Bridgerton," "Sweet Tooth," and "Perfect Match."

Moreover, the teen K-drama is the most watched TV show in Vietnam while being listed as the second most watched in various countries like Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, South Korea, and more.

'Hierarchy' Remains at the Top Spot in Netflix's Global Non-English Category

Interestingly, other than its overall standing in the Netflix top 10, "Hierarchy" remained the number one TV show in the global non-English category.

Per Flix Patrol, the 7-episode K-drama has garnered 6.3 million views in the second week alone.

Due to the show's huge success, "Hierarchy" director Bae Hyun Jin, who also worked on "Big Mouth" and "Alchemy of Souls," expressed his deep gratitude to the viewers.

"Thank you to all the countries around the world for your love and support."

'Hierarchy' Season 2: Will Netflix Release a Sequel?

Penned by Choo Hye Mi, who also wrote the 2018 K-drama "About Time," "Hierarchy" is a high-teen scandal drama that depicts the story of the rich and famous students of Jooshin High School.

The fictional school caters to the sons and daughters of conglomerate owners, politicians, and powerful personalities in South Korea.

However, a new student, through Kang Ha (Lee Chae Min), managed to expose the dark side of the school. His mission is to reveal the reason behind the death of his twin brother.

Other than Lee Chae Min, the "Hierarchy" cast includes rising stars Roh Jeong Eui, Kim Jae Won, Ji Hye Won, and Lee Won Jung.

With only seven episodes in the first season, fans are looking forward to a possible sequel since the finale episode delivered a cliffhanger.

It includes Jooshin High School welcoming a new principal through Oh Na Ra. In addition to this, the last scene featured Jung Jae I's mother, whom she visited after she decided not to continue her studies in the United States.

With this, there were speculations that Netflix would release "Hierarchy" season 2, but as of this writing, drama officials are yet to confirm if the show will be renewed or not.
