Lee Joo Yeon Reveals Filming Her Bed Scene With Jo In Sung in Separate Rooms

In the recent episode of Tak Jae Hoon's YouTube show uploaded on June 26, he welcomed actress Lee Joo Yeon as his celebrity guest.

The actress, who is also a former member of the K-pop group After School, discussed her previous works, particularly her role in the movie "The King."

In the middle of their conversation, the host jokingly asked if she was the only After School member who ended up having such consistent activities in and out of showbiz. Lee Joo Yeon gave her confident reply:

"Aren't I doing the best? I even filmed a movie."

She went on and mention that she appeared in the 2017 movie "The King" with top actor Jo In Sung, which caught everyone's attention. She then candidly shared surprising details about her bed scene with the famous actor.

"We actually filmed separately."

Most people thought that the two filmed the intimate scene together, where in fact, they have separate rooms to shoot the scene.

Lee Joo Yeon Shares Worries About Her Role in 'The King'

To recall, in "The King" the actress portrayed Cha Mi Ryun, a character who acts as a catalyst for Jo In Sung's character Park Tae Soo to give in to his desires.

Contrary to her pure and beautiful image, her character is involved in drugs and multiple sexual relationships, featured in a scandalous video in the film.

In addition, in Lee Joo Yeon's past media interview, the idol-actress shared that she had a bit of champagne before filming the intense s*x scenes.

"Since my role involved some nudity, I was worried. I had many meetings with the director. Originally, the scenes were supposed to be even more intense, but the director toned them down a lot."

The actress went on:

"PD'nim reassured me that the scenes wouldn't be too explicit. I had a lot of concerns, but when I watched the movie, I thought it turned out better than I expected."
