Park Sung Hoon's Partnership With Burger King Receives Backlash

Following the success of his back-to-back series "Queen of Tears" and "The Glory," Park Sung Hoon garnered recognition and is now busy working on his projects, whether dramas or brand collaborations.

On July 1, the actor announced his collaboration with the fast-food chain Burger King. However, many fans are not happy.

Park Sung Hoon announced it through an Instagram video, with the caption "Coming Soon." The clip showed the actor flexing his acting chops as he teased the collaboration with a clever play of the word "Ragu."

While many were immersed in the actor's deep voice and captivating acting in the clip, a significant number of fans also expressed their disappointment in his latest work, because Burger King has been named as one of the brands targeted by the BDS boycott list in support of Palestine.

According to the source, the mentioned fast-food chain is one of the four included organic target brands in the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement.

Based on the published reports, the chain's Israeli franchise provides free meals to the Israeli military as they lead a deadly onslaught on civilian life in the Gaza Strip of Palestine.

As a result, Park Sung Hoon's uploaded video was bombarded with comments from disappointed fans who urged him to honor the boycott for the cause.

Meanwhile, Park Sung Hoon is currently filming his upcoming drama "Squid Game 2," which is composed of a stellar cast. This marks his next screen project following "Queen of Tears."
