SM entertainment is changing the lineup for one of their biggest boy bands in history. Member Moon Taeil has been let go following allegations about a criminal case of sexual offense.

"After verifying the facts related to this matter and recognizing the seriousness of the situation, we have determined that Taeil can no longer continue his activities with the team and have decided to remove him from the group after discussions with him," the agency said an official statement and Allkpop translated. The popular singer is reportedly cooperating with police regarding the investigation, and SM promised to continue to update the public about the case's outcome.
In the past, Taeil has been a contestant on variety shows Idol Chef King and King Of Mask Singer.
Former member Lucas Wong was removed from NCT last year after a scandal involving his dating past. In April, he made his debut as a solo artist with his first single album Renegade.
