Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun will appear in the spin-off drama of the highly anticipated show Spice Up Our Love, which is a prequel of the original series, No Gain, No Love. The drama, which was confirmed before the original series aired on August 26, is set to premiere on October 3.

TVING's "Spice Up Our Love" is a romance fantasy drama that revolves around Nam Ja Yeon, portrayed by Han Ji Hyun. She is a R-rated romance web novelist who mysteriously transforms into her novel's female protagonist, Seo Yeon Seo. As she navigates this new reality, she becomes involved in an unpredictable romance with the male lead, Kang Ha Joon, played by Lee Sang Yi.

The original web novel, titled "The CEO's Meal Plan," serves as a central plot point for the spin-off. In "No Gain, No Love," Han Ji Hyun's character struggles with a lack of dating experience, while Lee Sang Yi's character, Bok Gyu Hyun, is a third-generation CEO skeptical about romance.

Their relationship in the original series is marked by tension, but the spin-off promises to evolve this dynamic into a full-blown romance.

Han Ji Hyun can be seen in the series "Cheer Up," while Lee Sang Yi stars in the "Youth of May" series.
