Actor Park Seo Joon expressed his envy towards the lives of singers, particularly his friend V of BTS, who recently blew up the internet.
In a recent episode of singer Sung Si-kyung's YouTube show, posted on October 7, Seo Jun revealed that he often ponders about the artists' feelings on stage while watching V perform.
Talking about his early days, the actor mentioned that he has always been shy and didn't even talk to waiters when ordering food in a restaurant. However, he soon realized he could pursue an acting career to combat this trait.
"When I was in the third grade of middle school, I hated my shy personality. I wanted to change my personality," revealed the actor.
Park Seo Joon talked about his unpleasant school experiences, including bullying, and added that self-respect and confidence made a huge difference in his life. "Back then, I was small. So I thought that I was nothing and wasn't confident. But after I started acting, I started speaking up for myself," he continued.

Seo Jun also expressed his love for acting, "What I love about acting is that it makes me feel alive... It feels like being on cloud nine." The actor is always anxious before the director shouts, "Action!". "I feel like I'm in a different world, and that sensation is a heady one... I'm totally addicted to this kind of feeling, and that's what keeps me going," he added.
Last, he mentioned why he envied singers that much and V's concert experiences, in particular. "Do you know why I'm envious of singers? A friend of mine who is into music is named Tae-hyung.
Tae-hyung held a concert several times, and I've been to his concert. There were tens of thousands of people cheering on Tae-hyung. The catharsis he would get on stage... It seems to be unimaginable," gushed the actor.
"I frequently wonder... how would he or she feel right after finishing all the notes at the concert," added the actor.
