SBS Star reported that the actor revealed that taking on the position had initially burdened him. Jung stated, "At first, I used to be actually burdened. It actually put me a number of stress. But when you're the one one feeling burdened, nothing will get solved, right? That's why ultimately, I got here to simply accept it and did my best."

ccording to The Korea Herald, it was the first time Jung had accepted a villain function, and the movie was shot over a length of just about six months.

The actor went on to disclose that the narcissistic and sociopathic traits of his character had made him withdraw from individuals: even his dad and mom found him unfamiliar throughout that time.

He underscored that discussions with co-star Hwang Jung Min had been very useful in relieving Jung of his burden.

Conversely, Jung described his breakout drama Something in the Rain as a blessing and a curse, stating, "It was my very first leading role, and I felt so lucky that it did so nicely. However, it was very exhausting, physically and mentally."

Moreover, he said, "I wasn't fully prepared when I suddenly gained attention, which led to burnout and severe insomnia."

At 31 years old at the time, Jung faced harsh criticism from the public and dealt with malicious comments online that left him feeling terrified. The actor said, "There have been days I didn't leave the house. I had one thing like panic disorder and was afraid of people. I actually could not meet individuals.."

Nonetheless, Jung overcame all this by accepting that not all people would love him and redirecting his vitality to those who did. This change in attitude allowed him to partake in the Netflix drama D.P., which became another way for him to thank those who continued to help him discover the brand new gem in him.

The actor, after that, had the guts to simply accept and go all in for his new roles akin to 12.12: The Day and the I, the Executioner.

Jung stated, "I had determined to be grateful to those who supported me and I dedicate myself to them." According to Jung Hae In, it was D.P. who made him feel he was extraordinary.

As he continues to navigate his career, Jung Hae In remains committed to his craft while prioritizing his mental health.
