Nominee 'Queen of Tears' has enjoyed an explosive year with high viewership and an award possibility.

"The final episode, which aired on the evening of April 28, garnered a 24.9 percent viewership rating. This figure surpasses the previous record held by the finale of "Crash Landing on You," which aired on Feb. 16, 2020, and recorded a rating of 21.7 percent, 'The Korea Times' reported in April.

They added, "The drama also made a significant impact internationally, topping Netflix's Global TOP10 Non-English series for the week of March 25 to 31, with a total viewership of 93.8 million hours. It ranked in the top 10 in 68 countries, including the U.S., Canada, Japan, Australia and India. TIME magazine praised 'Queen of Tears,' highlighting its fresh approach to the familiar themes of K-dramas."

'Lovely Runner' didn't enjoy high ratings during its initial run in April, but its dedicated fan base helped it secure a nomination this year. It is now on its way to becoming a famous show for future generations, thanks to Byeon Woo Seok's unforgettable theme song.
