UPDATE: According to Sports Chosun, Song Jae Rim was found dead at his residence in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, around 12:30 pm on the 12th. According to the police who found him, "There are no suspicions of murder or other crimes." A two-page suicide note was located at the scene.

Newsen reported that his body was discovered on the afternoon of November 12, 2024.
The funeral for him is being prepared at the Yeouido St. Mary's Funeral Hall, which has one service set for noon on November 14.
Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim made a name for himself with the 2012 MBC drama "The Moon Embracing the Sun," before finding steady work in dramas like "Pretty Boy Ramen Shop," "Inspiring Generation," and "Goodbye Mr. Black."
He has appeared in films such as Grand Prix, The Suspect and Crazy Love. More recently, he starred in the K-drama Queen Woo and played the role of Go Pae-ui, the dethroned crown prince.
He was, however, more prominently known for his role in We Got Married.
Fans and fellow actors are mourning Song after the unexpected loss of a versatile actor who delivered both comedy and drama on television and in film.
