The Miami Heat, in the middle of a long road trip, will visit the Denver Nuggets in an NBA 2013 game that will be live streamed and online free from
Denver's Pepsi Arena on Monday night at 9:00 PM ET.

First-year Denver coach Brian Shaw has been saying it all year long: The Denver Nuggets have the slimmest margin for error.

Playing without starting forward Danilo Gallinari and starting center JaVale McGee, the Nuggets must pay close attention to detail, stay fundamentally sound and give maximum effort every night to win on a consistent basis.

A six-game losing streak has illustrated those points in painful fashion.

As the calendar year comes to a close, the Nuggets (14-15) will try to end their longest slide in nine years when the two-time defending world champion Miami Heat visit Pepsi Center on Monday night.

Denver allowing 65 second-half points and surrendered 19 offensive rebounds against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

"There are a lot of things that we can take away from this game and the five games before that," Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler said. "If we want to win, we have to play harder. That's what it all comes down to."

The Grizzlies trailed by one at halftime but led by as many as 26 points in the fourth quarter. Memphis shot .516 from the field en route to a season-high 120 points.

"It was a thorough whipping all the way through," Shaw said. "You have to give them credit. They played hard. They made shots. Every single time that they got an offensive rebound, they turned it into a three or at least a bucket on their end. That breaks your back."

Since going 4-2 on a six-game trip, the Nuggets have lost seven of eight, including three in a row at home.

This is the first game of a two-game season series that concludes March 14 at American Airlines Arena in Miami.

The Heat swept the two-game series last season, with their first victory in Denver since 2002 while the Heat have won three of the past four meetings.

This concludes a four-game road trip for the Heat, during which they have won two of their first three games on this west coast swing.

The Nuggets, coached by former Heat guard Brian Shaw, have uncharacteristically lost their last three home games and their overall losing streak now stands at six, after Saturday's 120-99 loss in Memphis.

The Heat are struggling with injuries as center Chris Andersen (back) and forward LeBron James (groin) are questionable for tonight's game.

For the Nuggets, forward Darrell Arthur (quad) is questionable for the Nuggets while center JaVale McGee (leg) and forward Danilo Gallinari (knee) are out.

The game can be watched and listened to on the ALT Network and on radio at 790-AM, 104.3-FM, 106.3-FM, 710-AM (Spanish) in Miami. It will also be live streaming at https://nbalivestreamfree.net/
