Fans are finding themselves laughing along with Kim after footage spread of her seemingly ignoring fellow star Byeon Woo Seok — who was celebrating his win — during the event.

Byeon Woo Seok was awarded Best Original Soundtrack for playing Ryu Sun Jae in the mega-hit K-drama "Lovely Runner" during the ceremony.

Kim looked baffled when the presenter announced the award, replying "Oh, thank you" to no one in particular before realizing that she should have congratulated Byeon.

Kim stood up to receive his award from Byeon, only to turn away and look for the night's true best actor, effectively dissing his co-star.

That moment soon went viral as snippets played on social media. Another fan commented with laughter about Kim's innocent obliviousness.

"How would he know that the presenters called Eclipse's Ryu Sun Jae? LOL," one user wrote. One added: "This is hilarious. But I had no idea either, so that's fair."

This is not the first time fans and celebrities have ended up rolling on the floor and laughing at Kim Soo Hyun. At public events, his jocular personality breaks through, and he's a well-regarded figure.

Reactions continue to come in, however, and fans voiced a wide range of support for both actors on social media.

Every year, the Asia Artist Awards gather a host of stars to celebrate the best in music and acting across Asia.

The ceremony included a lot of performances and appearances of famous singers and actors, but the most impressive event was Kim Soo Hyun's moment, which was not intended.
