There have been lists of 2013's best dramas, the best kisses and the best characters, but 2013 also deserves a list of the best kdrama moments. Some dramas are good from beginning to end. A few start off strong and fizzle out, while others don't take off until the third or fourth episode.

But whether the drama was good or so-so, there are some moments, some images that stay with you. Here are a few of our favorites.

When Kim Woo Bin says he is no longer going to hurt Park Shin Hye in "The Heirs" but that he will take it out on everyone else, including himself. Those few words say a lot about him.

The moment in "The Master's Sun" when So Ji Sub tells Gong Hyo Jin that he loves her but she realizes as soon as he says it that he's very close to death.

In "Missing You," when Yoon Eun Hye uses her hand to wave away the terrible memories she shares with Park Yoochun. If only it was that easy to erase them forever.

In "I Hear Your Voice" when Lee Bo Young becomes embarrassed that Lee Jong Suk can read her mind and knows how she feels about him. Another good moment is the expression on his face when she wakes up with messy hair and almost spoils his longtime crush on her.

In "That Winter The Wind Blows" when Jo In Sung leans over to almost kiss Song Hye Kyo. She's not really his sister but he is pretending she is and the fact that he cannot resist his impulses is wrong and yet so right.

In "Empress Ki," the scene when Ha Ji Won holds hands with both the King of Korea and the Emperor of the Yuan Dynasty. She holds the fate of nations in her hands but no one else knows.

In "Cheomdamdong Alice," the moment when Moon Geun Young decides to come clean about her plan to become a Candy Girl. Kdrama characters spend a lot of time lying and weighed down by shame, but she is refreshingly honest.

There were plenty of memorable moments in "Good Doctor" but Joo Won playing the autistic savant was most heartbreaking when talking about his bunny going to heaven and when he was yelling "echo, echo, echo" outside the operating room and no one could imagine that he meant echocardiogram.

In "Gu Family Book," the moment when Lee Seung Gi realized he could control his inner monster. It's the first step in his becoming more humane than the humans around him.
