With the success of their first movie "This is Us" under their belt, One Direction may collaborate with Martin Scorsese for a new flick.
Supposedly "The Wolf of Wall Street" director has taken a huge liking to the One Direction group that includes Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Louis Tomlinson.
Scorsese's love for the boy band allegedly began when his daughter Francesca gave him a 1D album as a gift.
"Martin is very passionate and enthused about the music of One Direction," a source told the Confidenti@l column of the New York Daily News.
The 71-year-old's talent for cinematography has been called on by musicians in the past. In fact, Scorsese directed Michael Jackson infamous music video for "Bad" in 1897.
Scorsese also has director credits for the 2008 Rolling Stones concert film "Shine a Light." Although the movie only brought in $15,773,351 at the global box office, he can expect much more success with One Direction.
1D's "This is Us" movie brought in $67 million worldwide since it was released last summer, making it the fourth highest grossing concert movie ever.
