A 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit 50 miles east of LA on Wednesday. Reports say that no significant injuries or damage took place.
The quake took place after midnight 1:35 am, concentrating 3 miles north of San Bernardino County city, Fontana, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There was a number of after shocks that ensued with earthquaketrack.com reporting 6 earthquakes in Fontana on the same day.
According to more statistics from earthquake track.com, 16 earthquakes measuring 4.4 occurred in the last week and 22 for the last month. For the yearly total, there has been 37 earthquakes in Fontana with the same intensity.

TV news reported office merchandise falling from shelves. Off-duty county firefighter Eric Sherwin told The Sun newspaper, "At first I thought it was just a gust of wind," adding, "then I realized it was more than that."

The quake was strong enough to set off school alarms in Rialto.
Sgt. Brian Heaviside, the Fontana watch commander on patrol said, "I barely felt it.
There were some who benefited from the quake since it as the 20-year anniversary of the Northridge earthquake.
Owner of Simpler Life Emergency Provisions Inc. in Redlands, Bob Snedaker, said in a Sun article, "It dovetails nicely with Friday's anniversary," adding, "It's an interesting connection."
