The Sonisphere 2014 line-up just got crazier with Limp Bizkit joining the fray!

According to Ultimate-Guitar, Limp Bizkit have joined the line-up for this year's Sonisphere festival.

The Fred Durst led band lead the latest list of additions to the festival's bill. The Knebworth bash was cancelled in 2012 and 2013 but returns this year with Iron Maiden and Metallica making their only UK festival appearances at the event. The Prodigy will headline the festival on Friday, July 4.

Limp Bizkit is famous for the Mission Impossible II theme song "Take A Look Around" and their hits "Rollin'", "My Generation", "Nookie", "Break Stuff" and "My Way", Jacksonville rap metallers Limp Bizkit played the main Apollo stage at the inaugural Sonisphere in 2009.

Joining Limp Bizkit on the bill are Anthrax, Dropkick Murphys, the Sisters of Mercy, Carnifex, Devin Townsend, Silverstein, the Virginmarys, Voodoo Six and Chas & Dave. Other names previously announced include Alice in Chains and Slayer plus Mastodon, Airbourne, Ghost, Gojira and Karnivool.

And with Slayer, Metallica, and Mastodon working on their latest albums, perhaps this show will be a great opportunity to preview some new stuff for the fans! Seeing bands like Iron Maiden and Alice in Chains on the same show never hurts either, as both band put on amazing and incredible live shows. And though there's nothing wrong with having these older bands play, it's nice to have "younger" bands Ghost and Gojira to make sure it's not purely a "legacy show".

Sonisphere 2014 will take place in Knebworth Park between July 4 and 6. Early bird tickets for the festival are available now priced £170.

The Sonisphere 2014 line-up so far is as follows:
