Gal Gadot Wonder Woman Interview Confirms Superhero Role; Inks 3 Movie Deal With Warner, ‘Batman vs. Superman, Justice League Movie & Standalone Wonder Woman Film

Gal Gadot, Israeli actress slated to play Wonder Woman was interviewed by Good Evening with Gai Pines. Gai Pines is a leading Israeli entertainment show and they report that Gal Gadot signed a deal to play her role in Batman vs. Superman. Apparently, she has fallen for a 3 movie arrangement with the producers.

This news about Gal Gadot was confirmed by Variety. Along with the first movie, Gal Gadot will also act in a standalone Wonder Woman film and a Justice League movie.

Batmannews.com was surprised to hear a confirmation on the deal, although Chris Begley wrote that a 3 movie shoot is normal for superhero movies. It takes a trilogy to get the audience hooked on the theme and it worked for Clark Kent in Superman.

Other emerging reports suggest that model Gal Gadot will start working on Wonder Woman in May. Gai Pines said that producers have talked about Gadot's role as Wonder Woman three months ago.

She is expected to travel to Metro Detroit near Michigan to get oriented with the part.

According to the Michigan Film Office, the film will be set in southeast Michigan. Henry Cavill will star as Superman, while Ben Affleck takes the more sophisticated role as Batman.

Incidentally, filmmakers of Batman vs. Superman were presented with $35 million of the $131 million projected estimates for shooting the movie in Michigan.

The unnamed Batman-Superman film was scheduled for release this year, but it has been pushed back to 2016, according to Variety magazine.
