After Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami it triggered a lot of people to speak out, including former Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande.
In a recent interview with Boston's Mix 104.1 radio station, the pop sensation spoke on Bieber's misfortune just a few hours after he was apprehended in Miami and charged with nonviolently resisting arrest, a DUI, and driving with an expired license.
“I think it’s really serious,” she said. “I’ve seen tweets of people like making fun of the mugshot and all this stuff, and it’s so ignorant. It’s gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay.”
Grande, age 20, compared Bieber to the late Michael Jackson after saying he was "the most visible and yet isolated human being I've ever met."
Even Bieber has compared himself to the King of Pop.
Following his release, Bieber decided to post an Instagram picture this Friday of himself departing from the Miami police station while riding on top of an SUV and waving to the public. The image was paired with a picture of the legendary Michael Jackson captured throwing up the peace sign to fans on top of a car outside of a Santa Monica, California, courthouse after he pleaded not guilty to child-molestation charges.
The photo included a caption that referenced lyrics from Jay Z's "What More Can I Say," the single from his 2003 "The Black Album."
