Yoo Yeon Suk has played his share of villainous characters in the past, but he admits that it doesn't burden him.

During the interview MBC's "Section TV", Yoo Yeon Suk was asked, "Since you've played many villainous characters in the past, don't you feel burdened portraying a nice character?" and he answered, "I wasn't too worried because I felt that I would be able to transform myself if I meet a nice character. I was very fortunate to have met a character like Chil Bong."

On his similarities with Chil Bong, he admitted, "We're not that much alike. I grew up in Gyeonsang-do, so there's that part of me."

In precious interviews, Yoo Yeon Suk revealed that while his antagonistic roles have affected how people viewed him, being part of the "Reply 1994" cast and portraying Chil Bong was able to turn his image into a positive one.

As an actor, he debuted in the movie "Oldboy" as Yoo Ji Tae's younger counterpart. Since then, he has portrayed antagonists in "Introduction To Architecture" and "Werewolf Boy", but started to change his image with more pleasant characters in dramas "Gu Family Book" and "Reply 1994".

Yoo Yeon Suk is currently filming for his new movie "Royal Taylor" which he stars with Park Shin Hye, Go Soo and Han Seok Gyu.
