With so much hype surrounding "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and the latest new Marvel project, "Guardians of the Galaxy" this 2014, directors Joe and Anthony Russo are already in talks with Marvel Studious to work on the production in making a "Captain America 3" movie.
According to Variety, "Captain America 3" has not been officially in the works and negotiations won't actually begin until after "Captain America: Winter Soldier" comes out in April.
However, "Marvel has been so impressed with the production of Winter Soldier, as well as with strong results from recent test screenings, that the studio has moved fast to attach the brothers to the next installment," Variety reports
This is the only time another member of the Avengers will receive a trilogy, joining "Iron Man" in the ranks.
There's no word yet on what the film will be called or what it will be about. A writer and release date are still to be determined, but the trade says that Marvel and the Russos are already putting together an outline. And besides, you just know Kevin Fiege has the whole thing in his head already!
Chris Evans still has several films to go on his Marvel contract, including the Avengers sequel "Avengers: Age of Ultron," so we can assume he'll be back.
