Blackberry's Z10 review starts you off on the left side, where the port for the HDMI and charging connector is located. And at the right hand side is where the volume button and the play button are located. Like most other smartphones, the speakerphone sits at the very bottom.
And at the top is the power button along with the 3.5mm jack.
The back of the phone sports the 8 megapixel camera with a LED flash.
The Z10 also has a 2 mega pixel front camera with an 18 hr removal battery and 16 gigs of storage.
The Z10 takes a micro sim and a micro SD card slot to expand your memory. So, you can actually store up to 64 gigabytes - an impressive feat enabling this blackberry to double as a music player and video recorder as well as the characteristic business apps.
The 4.2" inch screen gives you plenty of space for video play.1280 x 780 pixels screen res., the equivalent of 350 pixels per inch. Not bad for a Blackberry. Who knew it could compete with the latest iPhone.
According to user reviews on YouTube, viewer angles on the phone work nicely.
Z10 runs on QualComm Snapdragon 1.5 gigahertz, a quad core processor with 2 gigs of ram; this is the same amount of ram you would get on an average 2 gigs of Ram. The software for this phone is BB10 OS.
One of the new features on the BB10 is the Blackberry hub. The hub hosts all your saved info, including text messages, emails, voice calls, BBM, social networking data from facebook, twitter, LinkedIn all packaged for your convenience at the hub.
A neatly organized way to glance at all your daily activities on the Internet. Gesture from bottom to right to enter the hub.
Life-tiles is another new Blackberry feature; these are like widgets, sort of like apps running in the background on your home screen. This gets you into the most frequently used apps and it's a nice way to do it - sophisticated and organized.
BBM on the Blackberry now comes with voice call or video call. Blackberry is ready to launch updated versions of BBM for the Android and the iOS systems. There's much to be said about the virtual keyboard on the BB10, an easy adaptation from other Android keyboards.
One user review emphasized that the word prediction and word correction on this phone is brilliant.
