Actor Lee Jong Suk opened up about his experience acting in the blockbuster historical film "The Face Reader".
During his interview with eNews, he confessed to having a difficult acting in the movie, "When I filmed 'The Face Reader', I developed a certain trauma towards acting. As I watched the movie, I realized that whenever I was in the scene, the flow would be disrupted and it would seem out of place."
"Watching myself act caused a great deal of suffering for me, and I began to scold myself because of it," he continued.
However, it seemed that his director and co-actor though otherwise, "The director and senior Son Kang Ho even praised me, but I was still feeling problematic because I thought the scenes stood out in a bad way. After filming the movie, I was in a difficult place with my acting and I was scared."
His next movie "Hot Blooded Youth" turned out to be a positive healing experience for him, and he shared, "Being out in the countryside breathing fresh air and taking in the sights, I was able to let go of everything and just focus on my acting. I want to improve my acting in the future."
