Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle have just welcomed a baby girl into their lives. The Jonas Brother and his New Jersey-born wife had Alena Rose Jonas on February 2, 2014.
The newly-minted parents told E! News, "We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas. She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes."
The Married to Jonas reality couple actually documented Danielle's entire pregnancy on Twitter and Instagram. They posted updates that ranged from showing the growth of the baby bump and shopping for baby things to Danielle going into labor and Kevin resting the birth.
Aside from being born famous, Baby Jonas already has her first endorsement as well. Mom and Dad Jonas have been a part of Dreft Detergent's "Amazing Baby Days" campaign, plugging the company's baby app on Twitter all throughout the pregnancy. They have been sharing their pregnancy stories via the company's YouTube account as well, and are said to have signed on for the baby's first year. Kevin told his fans to go to Dreft for updates on the labor, and the Jonas couple even let Dreft tweet the first photo of the baby! Dreft tweeted, "On this day, a little star was born. Meet Alena Rose Jonas. #BabyJonas."
The baby's arrival came just after Kevin's grandfather, Jerry Miller - who has been sick for quite some time - was laid to rest. Kevin's tweet on January 30 said, "Yesterday was very hard we lost one of the greatest men I ever knew. Papa you will always be with us."
His Jonas brothers also tweeted about their granddad and the baby. Joe Jonas posted, "As one life ends, another begins. Incredibly happy to be an uncle for the first time. Welcome to this world my beautiful niece."
Nick Jonas had a similar tweet that said, "My grandfather's memorial was yesterday. Today we welcome a new addition to the Jonas family. God is great. Can't wait to meet my new niece."
