Charlie Sheen just apologized to Ashton Kutcher for ranting about his Two and a Half Men successor on Twitter. The former star of the CBS sitcom started ranting on Twitter last Sunday about Kutcher, who replaced him on the show when he was let go from it three years ago. Kutcher responded to the tweets by calling him out during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live last Wednesday, asking his predecessor to stop the rants.
Sheen heard the message and is now apologizing. The troubled actor just posted on Twitter, "Ashton message received. so sorry you sounded like me! well done! my bad I was pissed at other crap & took it out on you. hope u r good xox c."
The latest Two and a Half Men feud of sorts started when Sheen posted a few tweets about Kutcher during the weekend. On January 6, he posted a message to his former costar Jon Cryer, but it included a dig about Kutcher. It said, "hey Jon!!! u r a GENIUS!!! I effin love and MISS YOU old pal! Q; who's your lame side-kik? C #NiceTryCanonBoy #CH." The tweet was accompanied by a picture of Cryer with Kutcher.
The next day, the controversial actor posted another tweet that said, "hey relax everyone! read the hash tag! oh and Jon I'm so sorry I insulted your sidekik. I meant REALLY lame. c #HyLMn." He followed it up with a third tweet, which said, "hey Ashton. sorry bro all good. now quit barfing on my old brilliant show. Remember Punk'd? how duz it feel? c harp."
Kutcher had to comment on the issue when he guested on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Host Jimmy Kimmel asked him, "Everyday when you go to work, do they say, 'Thank you for not being Charlie?'"
Kutcher replied, "I'm trying to like skew towards where Charlie was there, when he left. Like, I'm just trying to like edge in that direction."
Kimmel said, "You kinda owe him because whatever you do," to which Kutcher replied, "I mean, clearly. It's like... can I make a public plea right now with Charlie? Dude shut the f--- up! Seriously! Enough already. Like, it's like three years later, you're still blowing me up on Twitter? Come on dude, really?"
Sheen was apparently paying attention and told the younger actor that he heard the plea. As of this article's posting, Kutcher has yet to reply back.
