In "You Who Came From The Stars," Jun Ji Hyun's character says that her crowning achievement is the huge advertising billboard that displays her face for the whole world to see. That's why she lives where she does. So she can see the billboard.

Then one day, her picture is gone, replaced by the face of her former supporting actress, played by Yoo In Na.

Actress Chun Song Yi no longer sums up what it means to be beautiful.

In real life Yoo In Na was recently honored for her beauty. She was chosen to replace another style icon as the emcee of the show "Get It Beauty." Yoo In Na replaces Eugene, who is the author of two beauty books and who once had her own show "Eugene's Makeup Diary." Eugene is currently focusing on her acting career, having just finished the successful drama "One Hundred Year's Inheritance."

According to OnStyle, Yoo In Na is the star that 20- or 30-something women want to be. The actress is loved for her style savvy, her charm and beauty sense. It may also have just a little to do with her role on the popular drama.

Most female k-drama and k-pop stars are happy to do commercials and ads for beauty products. With their flawless skin and glossy hair, top actresses such as Kim Tae Hee, Park Shin Hye, Yoon Eun Hye, Han Ga In, Jun Ji Hyun, Ha Ji Won and Song Hye Kyo have all been chosen to model the benefits of hair and skin care products. Many of these actresses began their careers as models but even after they snag leading roles continue to accept lucrative commercial deals.

Although she did two dramas last year, Yoon Eun Hye was also the face of Mac Cosmetics Korea. Even though she has a busy singing and recording schedule, 2NE1's fashionable CL is now the face of Maybelline New York. And Lee Na Young's image will be seen in stores all over Korea next month because she is the face for Lancome's International Women's Day campaign.

And women are not the only Korean celebrities modeling beauty products. Both Kim Hyun Joong and Jang Geun Suk have endorsed Japanese cosmetic companies, while Jang Geun Suk modeled BB cream for "Nature's Republic."

Lee Min Ho endorsed Innisfree Cosmetics in China, while Big Bang's G-Dragon endorsed the makeup brand Saem.

"I look beautiful because I wear makeup," said Kim Tae Hee in one makeup commercial, although few viewers believed her. Even without makeup models and top film stars look better than most people.

But even if you know these celebrities are gorgeous without makeup, it is nice to look at their beautiful faces and cosmetics companies count on that.
