2PM's Ok Taecyeon has had enough. The singer-actor has been the subject of crude and inappropriate comments on twitter that he considers harassment. He wants the comments to stop even if he has to sue the individuals who are posting them.

"I will sue you both of you," Taecyeon wrote on his Twitter account. "I'll make an example out of you."

Taecyeon's agency JYP Entertainment says they are investigating the issue and plan to take it seriously. In the past the agency has taken action against the online harassment of miss A's Suzy Bae.

"After holding back time and again, I can't take it anymore," Taecyeon said on Twitter. "Don't even request any favorable treatment. You won't be getting it."

The two netizens are said to have deleted their accounts but that does not mean the case has ended.

In response to his decision to sue, other netizens posted comments online saying that the Taecyeon Twitter incident was being blown out of proportion. They said that 2PM members have a deliberately sexy image and thus should not be surprised at provocative comments.

Others were on his side, saying he took it for long enough and that haters should take the lawsuit as an opportunity to reflect on their actions.

Yet another netizen pointed out that it was not the first time Taecyeon was harassed online. He has been the subject of online criticism because as a permanent U.S. resident he was exempt from serving in the Korean army. Eventually he renounced his U.S. residency. He had surgery twice so physical damage from past injuries would not disqualify him from serving as a soldier. This year he announced his plans to enlist in 2015.

From his reaction to such past negative criticism, you might say that Taecyeon takes his fans' opinions seriously. And he is not the only idol that wants his fans to be kinder and more careful about what they say online.

Several celebrities and their entertainment companies have recently chosen to sue netizens for posting inappropriate comments. Last week C-JeS announced its intention to sue netizens who posted comments about singer and actor Kim JaeJoong.

While people are allowed to comment, they must be careful that the comments do not harass the individual they comment on. Nor can comments slander a celebrity and potentially damage that person's career.

Hopefully the harassment of Taecyeon has stopped.

The star of "Who Are You?" "Dream High" and "Cinderella's Sister" is currently busy working on the weekend drama "Very Good Times," which begins Feb. 22nd.
