Michael Jordan and his wife Yvette Prieto just said hello to twin girls! The basketball icon and the Cuban-American model now have identical twin daughters named Victoria and Ysabel.

Jordan's spokesperson, Estee Potnoy, told the Associated Press, "Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival." The birth happened on Sunday night in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The twins will be the 35-year-old Prieto's first children and the 50-year-old Jordan's fourth. The NBA star has three grown children with his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy.

Prieto and Jordan met at a Miami nightclub back in 2008. The two dated for three years before getting engaged in 2011. They got married last year on April 27, 2013, after five years of dating.

The wedding ceremony at the Episcopal church Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida, had 500 guests, while their wedding party at the Bears Club in Jupiter, Florida, had a whopping 1,500 more guests. Among the guests were his Chicago Bulls partner Scottie Pippen and his wife, Larsa Pippen. Former New York Knicks center Patrick Ewing also attended, as well as gold icon Tiger Woods.

It was Jordan's second marriage. His first one, with Vanoy, lasted 17 years. They had three children - two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James; and a daughter, Jasmine. They divorced in 2006. Jordan reportedly had to pay an estimated $168 million settlement to Vanoy, who also got their seven-acre estate in Chicago and custody of their three kids. The previously filed for divorce in 2002, but reconciled shortly after, only to divorce again for the final time in 2006.

The retired Chicago Bulls legend has six NBA championships to his name. He was a league MVP five times, and an All-Star 14 times. He is now busy being the owner of the NBA team Charlotte Bobcats. The team is currently eighth seed in the Eastern conference.
