Flappy Bird on iPhone is now an 'in' thing, after the popular game was taken off the Internet.

The way this plays out is smartphones with Flappy Bird like iPhones are listed on eBay for huge amounts of 'mullah.'

One bid for a phone with Flappy Bird stood at $14,900, while an iPhone 5 16GB on the Sprint carrier hit close to $15,000 after just 26 bids. Meanwhile, an iPhone 5s with the advert 'flappy installed bird' had just five bids positioned at $8,100.

The 'buy it now' options charge a heftier price with one white iPhone 5c on a 'buy it now' label for $40,000. iPhone 5s can be purchased for $20,000.

Flappy Bird iPhones being offered at premium prices is a reflection of Dong Nguyen's innovative game that made some addicts to Flappy Bird.

Recently, a seller on ebay offered a 16GB iPhone 5 which had a bid of $90,200 from 19 different users. Other seller s on the Net are Flappy-Bird equipped phones and tablets on eBay in a range from $300 to a couple of thousand dollars.

Some analysts say that the creator of the game took it down to create an update that would have even more appeal to consumers.

Flappy Bird app was downloaded 50 million times after it launched in May. The game was named Top Free App on iOS. A couple of days after its Android debut, it hit the same title on Google Play. The eBay listings have skyrocketed after Nguyen pulled out Flappy Bird from Google Play and Apps store.

Nguyen tweeted on his account that there were no legal issues linked to the removal of the game. He said," I just cannot keep it anymore," pcmagazine.
