We all know that the planned Evans VS Cormier has been cancelled because Rashad Evans was forced to withdraw due to a leg injury. It seems that the leg injury is more serious than we thought.

According to the official statement of his team "Blackzillians", "Suga" Rashad Evans will be out for 6 months and he will have to undergo surgery to fix his knee.

"Boca Raton, FL, February 17, 2014 - On February 12, former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans injured his knee during a training session leading up to UFC 170. After consulting with his doctors, Rashad will undergo surgery this week with Dr. Kvitne in Los Angeles, California. Rashad's medical team expects him to be out of active training for 6 months."

Rashad Evans says, "I am deeply disappointed to be missing the action at UFC 170, but I am, as always, incredibly grateful for the support of my family, friends, management, the UFC, and most of all my fans during this minor setback. Thank you for your continued messages of support. I'll be back stronger than ever!"

There has been no confirmation from the UFC as to what Rashad Evan's return fight will be. Evans Vs Cormier Reschedule will depend on the outcome of the Cormier vs Cummins fight, if the Daniel Cormier wins against Evans' replacement Patrick Cummins then a fight between them will push through but if Cormier loses the fight may not happen as Cormier thinks if he loses the Cummins fight then his career is "jacked up".

"I win this fight it doesn't do that much for me. But if I lose, my career, it's jacked up." says Daniel "DC" Cormier in an interview with SHOOT.

What do you think? Will Evans Return full healthy or he won't be the same again? Is Daniel Cormier's career done should he lose at UFC 170?
