After a final rewrite to the script and a long casting process, Fox have cast the titular "Fantastic Four" for its "Fantastic Four" reboot.

Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell will join Michael B. Jordan as Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing and the Human Torch respectively as the "Fantastic Four".

Kate Mara recently closed a deal to play play Sue Storm AKA The Invisible Woman. While no offer is out yet, Jaime Bell is expected to be tapped to play Ben Grimm/The Thing. Miles Teller has an offer to play Reid Richards AKA Mr. Fantastic, but deal points are a little further away from being completed.

Miles Teller and Kate Mara have been on Fox's radar since they were expected to test for the roles last November but the screen test dates were pushed back when Simon Kinberg came on for the last polish on the "Fantastic Four" reboot script.

Jamie Bell came into the mix after Fox resumed screen tests.

Michael B. Jordan has been attached for some time to play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.

With its four leads on board, Fox will now try to find its villain and hopes to test a handful of actors in the coming weeks.

It was reported by The Hollywood Reporter that Fox is open to the idea of changing the gender "Fantastic Four" villain, Dr. Doom. The news quickly spread and it made some fans very angry about the supposed gender change which led them to boycott the "Fantastic Four" reboot, but Director Josh Trank quickly denied that Dr. Doom will have a gender chage.

On his twitter page, Josh Trank said that the Dr. Doom gender change news is bogus which confirms that Dr. Doom is going to stay as a man.

Based on the comic "The Ultimate Fantastic Four," the contemporary update will focus on the characters as young men and women. Josh Trank will helm the pic with Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn and Gregory Goodman serving as producers.
