Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors aboud as the opening day of the MWC 2014 approaches. Samsung has set up an invitation only 'Unpacked' event reportedly to unveil its next flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S5.

With such a little time, rumors are spurting everywhere about some last minute news of specs and special features of the Galaxy S5.

A report by Bloomberg said a person close to the story ­revealed that the S5 will be accompanies with a bigger and sharper 5.2-inch screen in comparison to the 2013 flagship phone, Galaxy S4.

This is consistent with leaked reports of a Quad-HD display in the device in a screenshot. The leaked picture showed the Galaxy S5's QHD (1440x2560 pixel) res. accompanied by 560ppi pixel density. All of this comes with a 5.2 inch screen.

The Bloomberg report also said the new Samsung Galaxy S5 will also have a more robust battery life and a battery camera.

Although no details were disclosed, a second source told Bloomberg, Samsung might price the Samsung Galaxy S5 lower than earlier flagships; this is also a request made by a wireless carriers.

There are also rumors from Korean sources than the new Samsung Galaxy S5 will be dustproof and waterproof.

A person close to the story told ZDNet Korea. "Users can clean the phone with water while it can sustain short durations of dunking the phone in water".

This is consistent with rumors that O2, U.K. -based mobile carrier which revealed a Smartphone splashing water. O2 will bring Samsung S5 into Europe.

The report from Korea said that the Galaxy S5 can be unlocked by swiping on the home button. And Samsung will use a ultra-violet (UV) coating on top of its finger scanner.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors indicate that a new tablet series will be launched in tandem with the Samsung Galaxy S5. It is also possible that the Galaxy Gear Smartwatch 2 will be released along with the S5.
