LG G Pad 8.3 reviews suggest that it is the best budget tab around. Do you think the budget tab LG is as functional as the Nexus 7 or even the iPad mini? Let's find out.
Techno Buffalo's video review of the LG G Pad 8.3 is shown below:
The LG G Pad 8.3 is a nice looking tab with the brush metal and plastic make it stand out as a well designed tablet.
However, when you look at it from the perspective of a computing device, it is still a slab or tab, whichever way you look at.
This is not exceptionally good or bad; it is just ordinary.
On top o f the tablet frame, there is a plug for the earphones - also known as a 3.5mm headphone jack that is now a standard most mobile devices.
There is also a micro SD card slot for expanding your memory to 64 Gig. On the side, you have a volume rocker and a power sleep button. This is on the right side of the tablet. And your usb port and microphone are juxtaposed next to each other on the bottom.
The rear facing 5MP cam on LG G Pad 8.3 lets you take super snaps with a high level of clarity. And the front facing cam is 1.2 megapixel that you would probably used for video. You also have dual speakers on the back on the right side of the LG G Pad 8.3. This is just about everything n the LG G Pad 8.3's externals.
LG G Pad 8.3 has its speakers on two sides of the front panel. So if you hold the tab with the left hand, there is little chance that you will cover your speakers. And this is particularly a nice attention to detail that LG has spanned out. In a nutshell, the speakers sound great when you're watching a video.
With a delightful res. of 1920x 400, the screen on the LG G Pad 8.3 is fantastic. The colors are not oversaturated like some AMOLED tab screens.
Powered on a Snapdragon 600 processor, it may not be the best but it has good performance. The sacrifice on battery life for performance makes LG a good tab to have.
The G Pad comes with a 4600mAh battery life under the hood. If you use the G Pad moderately, this is all you need and if you use the brightness level to about 25%, even better.
n the whole, for the price of LG G Pad 8.3, the 2013 Nexus 7.is a lot cheaper at $130, and the fewer apps and a non existing seamless operation capacity of the G Pad makes it questionable to purchase.
