What is Tom Hardy thinking, running around in a robe, shirtless and in his underwear on the streets like that? Well the former "the Dark Knight Rises" star has a pretty good reason for doing so.
Tom Hardy recently stripped done to his boxers in a shoot for a new ad for Stand Up For Cancer. A video uploaded in YouTube by user name todaynews, the 36-year old actor is running down the street wearing only sneakers, green plaid boxer shorts and a dark blue bathrobe while cameras were rolling. Tom Hardy was barely recognizable in the shoot because of his numerous tattoos and bearded look.
Hardy's many tattoos to which some fans may not have even realized he has been clearly on display. Though Hardy is often shirtless in movies from "The Dark Knight Rises" to "Warrior," he usually has to cover up his body art for big screen roles.
"Every tattoo I have means something to me. Each one is something that I've been through in my life or I've done or I've been," he told the Globe and Mail back in 2010. "So I map that out on me, where I've been and where I'm going."
It was rumored on Monday that the English actor is reportedly in talks to play twin gangsters in "Legend," which will be directed by "L.A. Confidential" writer Brian Helgeland.
He's also starring in a few upcoming movies, including "Mad Max: Fury Road," "Child 44" and "The Drop."
