Miley Cyrus Tinkerbell: ‘Wrecking Ball’ Singer No Plans Of Becoming Peter Pan’s Fairy Sidekick ‘I Would Rather Choke On My Own Tongue,’ She Tweeted

Rumors about Miley Cyrus playing Tinkerbell in the Peter Pan musical came out a few months ago, but the pop singer ended that rumor with a nasty tweet "I would rather choke on my own tongue". Alongside the caption was the pixie-haired singer's cover photo for Star Magazine with the headline saying "Miley: Just Call Me Twerker Ball!"

Miley Cyrus has no interest on sprinkling pixie dust and flying all over Neverland. She may have the perfect look because of her hairdo and petite body, but a punk rocker like her has no time to do musicals. The songstress was recently featured on the latest track "Smoke Signals", which was produced by Grammy-Award winner Pharrell Williams. The track is included in the mixtape Idle Time of rapper Buddy, who has already worked with Williams in the past.

The 21-year old entertainer also started her Bangerz Tour recently. Miley Cyrus shocked her audience at the Staples Center last February 22 when she kissed Katy Perry. After giving her good friend a kiss on the lips, Cyrus said, "I just kissed a girl and I really like it a lot."

Known for doing all sorts of crazy things, some people also assumed that Miley Cyrus star as Tinkerbell. So how did this rumor started? After the successful musical The Sound of Music Live! ended last December, Robert Greenblatt of NBC announced that there will be a follow up for the live rendition of the 1945 Broadway play. When he was asked who he is eyeing to be included in the cast for his upcoming live production, Greenblatt said "I want Miley Cyrus!"

The Sound of Music Live! starred American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and it has drawn more than 19 million people to the live telecast. If Miley Cyrus will change her mind and finally decide to star as Tinkebell in NBC's Peter Pan, do you think she will beat the record of number of attendees in Underwood's musical?
