The Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night in an NBA game that will be live streaming online free from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon at 10:00 PM ET

The Blazers have excelled as the NBA's highest-scoring team, though a strong defensive effort has spearheaded their latest winning streak.

Since losing a season-worst three in a row, Portland (41-18) has gotten back on track and stands on the verge of its longest win streak since an 11-game run from Nov. 8-25.

After limiting Denver to 39.8 percent shooting in Saturday's 102-96 home win, they've held opponents below 40.0 percent in four straight for the first time since February 2005.

They could have their hands full defensively with the Lakers, who snapped a three-game losing streak with a 126-122 home win over Sacramento on Friday.

Jordan Farmar had a career-high 30 points and hit 8 of 10 from 3-point range as Los Angeles set season highs in both points and shooting percentage (60.0) while also setting a franchise record with 19 3s in 27 attempts.

"When we win it's fun," coach Mike D'Antoni said. "These guys need a little sugar once in a while, and this was sugar. We've been having problems, but they came through and I'm really happy for them."
