With another casting under his belt, EXO's resident vocalist D.O. makes his mark as one of the budding idol-actors of his generation.
Upcoming SBS drama "It's Okay, It's Love" is a project led by the production duo of writer Noh Hee Kyung and director Kim Kyu Tae who were behind the hit melodrama "That Winter, The Wind Blows". According to industry insiders, the drama is a modern love story portraying the lives and relationships of people who are unaware that they have mental problems.
Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin have already been confirmed for the drama. Jo In Sung's character Jang Jae Yeol has obsessive compulsive disorder, while Gong Hyo Jin's character Ji Hye Soo is a first year psychiatry fellow at a university hospital.
D.O. will be portraying the role of Kang Han Woo, a high school student whose dream is to become a best-selling writer for the sake of his mother. His character is said to play a big part in the development of the story because of his innocent personality.
He is currently filming his movie "Cart" which is scheduled to premiere in the latter half of the year. Meanwhile, "It's Okay, It's Love" will premiere in July.
