Actress Katie Holmes has ended her five-year fashion line partnership with fashion stylist Jeanne Yang. According to Page Six, the winding down of the Holmes & Yang partnership was due to differences between Holmes and Yang; there may have been a 'personal conflict.' "They have different approaches to absolutely everything: how to run the company, how to promote it and how to handle the press," the Page Six source noted. "It is much better that they go their separate ways now." There are reports that Yang leaked information about Holmes and ex-husband Tom Cruise after their divorce in 2012. A friend of the pair stated to the publication: "The conflict isn't about any one thing, it's sort of about everything."

Holmes and Yang debuted their first collection in 2009; their first show was in 2012 at New York Fashion Week. According to Page Six, the high-end brand will no longer be sold at Barneys New York. Famous fans of the line have included Amy Adams, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Heidi Klum. Breakout star and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o wore a cream colored Holmes & Yang maxi skirt for her November 2013 Hollywood Reporter cover.

The duo put out a joint statement JustJared.com yesterday: "After five years, both Katie Holmes and Jeanne Yang have decided to close their clothing line, Holmes & Yang. Katie and Jeanne remain close friends."

Katie Holmes will soon begin promotion of her dystopian film The Giver (to be released to movie theaters on August 15, 2014), costarring an all star cast, including Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Alexander Skarsgard, and Taylor Swift. The actress has another two movies scheduled for release this year including Days And Nights co-starring Allison Janney and Ben Whishaw, as well as Mania Days with Luke Kirby.
