Until now, former CEO Steve Ballmer was blamed for lackluster sales in the Windows Phone market and for not getting into the smartphone market early enough.

Nonetheless, the Lumia line of featured phones is still appealing, and could be a refreshing change to consumers who are tired of Apple and Android.

Nokia Lumia 1520 is another upcoming windows phone in 2014. This is a handset exclusively for camera lovers and video buffs. Would you believe this Lumia 1020 has a 41 MP Sensor, full manual control, optical image stabilization and a Xenon flash. This is the ideal phone for indoors and outdoor photographs and you wouldn't have to worry about carrying a Cannon or Nikon with you.

The Nokia Lumia520 is the cheapest of the upcoming windows phone devices. This Lumia has a 4"display which packs a punch so that Microsoft's Live titles look nice and sharp. Plus, taking a look at the specs, Lumia 520 is outfitted with a 1GHz Snapdragon S4 processor and would you guess this is the identical chip that comes with Lumia 620; that's more than enough power you need for your feature rich games like 'Flappy Birds,' if that's available on Windows Phone apps.
