After three years of harassment through letters, social media, and phone messages, Taylor Swift finally took action to stop her stalker. E! News reported that the 24-year old singer obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who claims to be her husband.

So who is Taylor Swift's stalker? His name is Timothy Sweet, a 33-year old man who stands 6-feet and weighs 200 pounds. Also known as Mr. Sweet, the hardcore fan was given a TRO to prevent him from communicating or making any contact with the singer. There will be a court hearing on March 25 where they will decide if they will extend the TRO or not.

The Grammy Award-winning actress is used to dealing with different kinds of fans, but Sweet was getting out of hand. A source revealed to TMZ that Sweet has been harassing the songstress since 2011.

Some of the documents that TMZ obtained from the insider include alarming posts. One example is "If anyone in Swift's family gets killed, it's not my fault." Mr. Sweet also posted, "My wife, Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverly Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life."

There are some fans who dream of becoming the husband of the superstar. But when signs of violence such as what Sweet indicated in his posts, then that's a different story. What must have pushed Swift to file a TRO was this post."Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. Message to John Kerry, Secretary of State. Message from YOUR Presidential Candidate."

According to the hitmaker, she fears for her and her family's safety. If there's a song that Taylor Swift can dedicate to her stalker, then it could be "I Knew You Were Trouble".
