Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's wedding is not happening, despite recent rumors to the contrary. The reality couple has been reportedly planning to follow in Kardashian sibling Kim's footsteps, as she is getting married to rapper Kanye West in May.

Reports have also been saying that Disick wants the wedding after realizing that Kourtney was all he had, following the deaths of both of his parents within the span of several months. News stories have even gone as far to say that Kourtney and Scott have been planning to elope and have their wedding in Mexico.

There is no truth to the rumors however. A family insider tells E! News that the marriage rumors were simply not true. Another source revealed that Kourtney is happy about where her life is going at the moment.

Lord Disick, as he styles himself, and the eldest Kardashian sister have been together since 2007, but tying the knot never happened for them, despite having two children together - four-year-old Mason and Penelope, who is less than a year old. Disick once bought a ring and planned on proposing to Kourtney, but it didn't work out. The topic of getting engaged -- or in their case, the opposite -- has also been well-documented on their TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

In the meantime, the couple is content with showing their love for each other by posting pictures on Instagram. Disick's most recent photo of Kourtney showed her on the phone wearing a blank tank top, which had the caption, "I like this girl." In February, he posted a paparazzi pic of them, captioned, "Me and my girlfriend (jay z voice)."

Kourtney is the same. Some of the young mom's most recent posts were two throwbacks with old photos of her and the father of her kids. She also posted a photo of them relaxing with their arms on each other, captioned, "Late night room service."
