Charlie Sheen's Anger Management gig has been encountering some trouble as of late. The former Two and a Half Men star was reportedly absent from work for several days recently, which has led to some friction on set and delays in production.

Sheen is said to have been missing in action, causing the sitcom's studio, Lionsgate, to rectify the situation by using stand-ins for the actor. His co-stars are rumored to be angry about the situation and are in danger of stopping work if Sheen still doesn't show up.

However, Sheen's publicist Jeff Ballard is saying that there are reasons for the production delay and Charlie's absence. The two issues are seemingly unrelated, as Ballard stated that production was stopped due to a cast member illness. He also explained Sheen's absence by saying that the actor has been dealing with a vocal chord problem. He told The Hollywood Reporter, "Charlie is always ready, willing and able to shoot Anger Management and looks forward to returning on Monday."

Sheen has seemed quite happy working on the comedy show. He has been posting happy tweets on Twitter, which included promotional tweets reminding fans to watch the show. He has also tweeted a lovely rave about how he was having a great time on the show. It said, "Look who I get to work with!!! BAD hombres! oh hell yeah Anger Management Rox! best thyme evurr! c #HelfordGenius."

The Twitter love isn't bad for Sheen, as he is prone to angry rants on the social media site. His most recent Twitter controversy involved his Two and a Half Men replacement, Ashton Kutcher. Sheen, who was fired from the show in 2011, tweeted a message for his former partner on the show, Jon Cryer, which included a picture of Cryer with Kutcher. The tweet said, "hey Jon!!! u r a GENIUS!!! I effin love and MISS YOU old pal! Q; who's your lame side-kik? C #NiceTryCanonBoy #CH." It was followed by a few more tweets mentioning Kutcher.

Kutcher handled it well. He called Sheen out on TV during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, and asked his predecessor to quit the rants. Sheen apologized via Twitter soon after.
