CM Punk has surfaced from his wrestling sabbatical to guest on Talking Dead. The wrestler, who has been quiet on the public front as of late, will be appearing on the talk show next week on Sunday, March 16, at 9 PM CT. Punk has already been on the show before, and his re-appearance was introduced on this week's episode. The show called him, "Super fan Phil Brooks aka CM Punk." It will be Punk's first TV appearance since he disappeared from WWE shows earlier this year.

Talking Dead is a live talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick. It's all about the AMC zombie horror-drama TV series, The Walking Dead. Cast members, celebrity fans, and even crew members of the hit show come on board to discuss what happens in every episode. Each week, Talking Dead has a different set of guests, and Punk will be on next week's panel.

Punk's first guest appearance on the Taking Dead was heavily promoted by the WWE. The straight edge superstar was on the November 2012 episode, alongside Yvette Nicole Brown of the comedy show, Community.

The controversial wrestler is currently on sabbatical from the WWE after walking out of Monday Night Raw after the 2014 Royal Rumble. He reportedly told WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMachon that he was "going home" that night and just left. McMahon told investors afterward that Punk was taking a sabbatical, and the WWE hasn't been promoting the wrestler for events. Punk's entrance music was played at the beginning of the March 3 episode of Raw, his former manager, Paul Heyman, stepped out to tell the crowd that Punk was not there.

Not much has been heard from Punk since. His fellow WWE wrestling stars haven't heard from him, and he hasn't been posting on his Twitter account either. His last tweet was posted after he disappeared from the WWE. It said, "Thanks for all the support. Keep being you guys, it's pretty cool." The upcoming Talking Dead show will definitely reassure his fans that he still exists.
