Actor Lee Dong Wook talks about his contribution to why actress Lee Da Hae accepted the role in the drama "Hotel King".
On the March 9 episode of MBC's "Section TV Entertainment News", the two celebrities went as special guests to talk about their upcoming drama. During the interview, Lee Dong Wool revealed that he was instrumental in the casting of his co-star Lee Da Hae.
Lee Da Hae shared, "Lee Dong Wook called me up and asked me if I wanted to work on this project together with him," to which the actor replied, "When I found out that the director was thinking of casting her, I called her up and asked her frankly if she wanted the part. She accepted."
Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae previously worked together in one of the most successful dramas of 2005, SBS's "My Girl". It will be their second time working together after eight years.
"Hotel King" is about the heiress of a seven-star hotel who will fall in love with a manager who goes against her father to protect the interests of the employees. It also stars 2AM's Im Seulong and Wang Ji Hye.
The drama will have its premiere episode on March 29.
