Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from estranged husband Lamar Odom in last night's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," appropriately titled "The Courage to Change." The 29-year-old reality star opened up to her sisters Kim and Kourtney about her struggles in deciding whether to file for divorce from estranged husband Lamar Odom. Kardashian married basketball player Lamar Odom one month after they first met in September 2009. Up until the divorce filing, Khloé and Lamar were married for 1,536 days.
In the mid season finale of the show, Khloé said tearfully to her sister, "[Divorce] is something I thought I'd never [have] to do. It's not fair that like, this is even something that I think anyone has to go through."
Kim, 33, pointed out that Khloé had been doing "every last thing a person can do," including arranging and showing up to multiple couples therapy sessions that Odom skipped out on. Khloé stated that she doesn't believe that Odom understands the consequences of his actions.
"I don't think he understands and that's what's so hard. I've said, 'OK. Like, do you understand, if you keep not showing up to therapy then I'm done. I'm gonna file. The saddest part is when you do that and it doesn't even rattle the person. When I threaten it, and no one even blinks an eye."
Aside from discussions and the filing of divorce, the mid-season finale of the long running reality show features Rob Kardashian getting startling new details about the status of his health, as well as Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian heading to a couples retreat.
