Skrillex released his new album "Recess" unannounced at 2:00 a.m. Austin time yesterday March 10. "Recess" was originally due out on March 18 on OWSLA/Big Beat/Atlantic. The dubstep artist unlocked access to one track after another until all 11 songs of "Recess" were unleashed via his free Skrillex smartphone app Alien Ride. Samples of every track on the "Recess" album is now streaming via iTunes before it goes officially on sale March 18.

Skrillex has already won two Grammys for Best Dance/Electronica Album, but Recess is his first proper album. The 11-track long "Recess" features many familiar collaborators, including Diplo, the Ragga Twins, and Chance the Rapper. A few come from Skrillex's extended family of electronic-music artist, including Kill the Noise, Alvin Risk, and Milo & Otis. "Recess" also features Diplo alongside international superstars G-Dragon (from South Korea's Big Bang) and CL (from the popular South Korean girl group 2NE1) on the sixth track "Dirty Vibe." British singer-songwriter Kid Harpoon sings on "Fire Away"; Chance the Rapper and the Social Experiment feature on "Coast Is Clear"; Fatman Scoop and Passion Pit's Michael Angelakos appear on the titular track "Recess." The Ragga Twins, veteran U.K. junglist musicians, are featured on the first track of "Recess" called ""All Is Fair In Love And Brostep," as well as the seventh track, "Ragga Bomb." According to Skrillex's management, "Recess" should be streaming in full on iTunes Radio's "First Play" feature.
