Dell Venue 11 Pro review puts this Dell tab as the top of the line in its class of tablet PC.
Touting its technical prowess, the Dell Venue 11 Pro has a screen size of 1080 HD IPS touch with a 24-hour battery life and it uses microUSB charging. The Dell Venue 11 comes with an optional keyboard dock that adds to the battery power with the Windows 8.1 Pro.
You can dock the tab on the desktop and the tablet has a swappable battery.
The Keyboard dock is nice to have if you want to simulate working at an office desk, but it will cost extra. A Stylus is also not part of the initial package.
The Dell Venue 11 has a great 'power saving mode with aggressive default screen dimming and just one USB 3.0 port.
The exceptional great battery life, and the 1080p screen, IPS screen, along with the flexible desktop and docking systems all suggest that the Dell Venue 11 Pro is one slate tablet for the competition to reckon with.
The Dell Venue 11 Pro with a price tag of $499.99 is a tablet built for serious business and would be suitable in an office. Some of the work features it has includes Windows 8.1 Pro, a removable battery, and a variety of docking solutions.
PCMagazine reports, "We looked at the entry-level Intel Atom-powered version of the system, but IT buyers can spec out the Venue 11 Pro with Intel Core i3 or i5 ultrabook-class processors. As configured here, the system impresses us enough to earn our latest Editors' Choice for business Windows 8 slate tablets."
The review goes on to say, "The Venue 11 Pro is built around a 10.8-inch screen. It's quite thin, measuring 7 by 11 by 0.4 inches (HWD). By itself, the tablet weighs 1.65 pounds, making it light enough to be a daily companion," adding, "our review unit came with an Intel Atom Z3770 processor with Intel HD Graphics, 2GB of memory, and 64GB SSD. This makes the Venue 11 Pro one of the fastest Atom-powered tablets we've reviewed.
