CW recently released a picture of Grant Gustin wearing the full Flash costume and it seems like the first ever footage of Grant Gustin wearing the full Flash costume while doing a scene for the upcoming Flash TV series 2014 has been posted online as well!
The new footage of Grant Gustin may look a bit weird to onlookers as Grant Gustin is running slowly and highly exaggerating his movements but this is intentional as VFX artists will speed up Grant Gustin in the shot and on the final render of the scene, Grant Gustin's running animation would look exactly like the ones in the cartoon shows or on the comic books.
While Barry Allen is making his TV debut at the Flash TV series 2014, another "Flash" is making his debut as well. I'm talking about the widely anticipated return of Wally West in the "New 52".
In the upcoming "The Flash Annual #3" comic due in April, Flash fans will finally see the "New 52" debut of Wally West sporting a different looking attire that most people are familiar with.
Not only will Wally West's costume be different it seems that a lot of his characterization and background will be changed as well, but DC artist Brett Booth assured fans that while it is ok to flip out as a knee-jerk reaction to the changes, fans should be patient and wait for things to play out.
"I know what some people are expecting, I know what I'd want. He will be different, for one thing, in the old DCU he was Iris's sister's kid. She has a brother now, so things won't be exactly the same. The original Wally was from a different time, a very Norman Rockwell sort of place. That is no longer the case for anyone in the New 52. He will reflect that, I'm sure. Be open to change and wait for things to play out a bit. I know everyone's first reaction is to flip out, myself included, but be patient." Brett Booth said in an interview with Newsrama.
According to Brett Booth, Wally West is the future flash and he will come back in time to Barry Allen's time for unknown reasons.
