Suits Season 3 Episode 12 Recap: After a very long break, Suits is back with another trembling episode after their last episode which gave fans shouting for more. The show left their avid followers with so much excitement when Louis Litt sneaked upon the files of the lawyers who went to Harvard. He looked for the file of Harvey Specter and Mike Ross, but he was not able to locate Ross's file. It occurred to him that he might have not really gone to his alma mater.
Louis has confronted Donna regarding the issue and she challenged him to prove that he was right and ask Harvard for a copy of transcript of Mike Ross. Donna reported this to Harvey, but he wasn't alarmed. Louis had received a copy of the transcript and was surprised that Ross received an A+ grade from a Legal Ethics class from Prof. Gerard. He called another associate lawyer from the firm and asked his grade on the said class and he said that he nailed it, but no one ever got a grade of A+. This made Litt even more suspicious of Ross.
When he got the chance, Louis told Mike that he invited Prof. Gerard to conduct a talk on the firm. Since Mike has a very powerful memory, he remembered who this professor is and told Louis that he knows him. Louis had exploited that he knows that Mike didn't go to Harvard and it made Mike feel anxious. He went to Harvey regarding this and went to Jessica Pearson about it.
He was supposed to tell Jessica, but she was preoccupied.... with something more important. She said that her ex-husband died. Mike told Rachel about the matters and made her worry about their life together. When the night came, Mike marched to Louis's house and told him that he really went to Harvard, but did not go to Gerard's class regularly and failed his finals. He also said that he went to the professor's office to ask for a second chance, but he doesn't give one and saw his computer open and just changed his grade. Rachel came to see Louis and expressed his love for Mike, thinking that it would change Louis's mind about exposing Mike.
Just when Mike was left alone in the office, Louis came to him and told him that Rachel came to him and he realized that he can forgive him. But, he needed to come clean with Henry Gerard and he will give the chance do it right or else he will. Mike went to Harvey and Harvey told Mike to sit tight for he will fly to Boston. He barged into Gerard's office and gave him the envelope and told him to make an excuse to Louis that he can't come and never to be in contact with him ever again. He agreed at first, then refused. So, Harvey came back to the office telling Mike that it was not okay and he doesn't know what to do. Mike decided to let Harvey off the hook and will resign in front of Louis and beg him to forget everything.Morning came and Louis was preparing for the talk. Harvey came in the room and talked about betrayal and called Louis his friend. He also made a point that he should just forgive him and Mike, but Louis said that Mike made a sin to the law. Harvey just said that a friend won't hold it against you if you don't. Gerard came and just when Mike was about to say something, Louis shut him off and just wanted to say sorry which he did. He came to Rachel's office with a smile and said, "he let it go."
