The first news item to be reported on Monday, was a 4.4 magnitude earthquake in California. The quake rattled residents all the way from South Beach Valley to Long Beach. However, minimal damages were reported.
The Geological Survey reported that "the quake's magnitude was 4.4 and it was centered 15 miles west-northwest of the downtown civic center."
The Los Angeles police and fire departments did not report any damages. A news anchor reporting on the story has taken social media networks by surprise and "#EarthquakeFace" is trending. Though the quake traveled 150 miles, it was 'par on course' as experts expalined.
