However, you have to admit that Google just got more serious about their wearable gadgets, when they decided to come out with a smartwatch.

There was not much mention of it and most consumers were expecting the iWatch ahead of the Android wear.
Having said that, Google Glass has received a ‘bad rap’ after people, or explorers, began wearing them in public places like restaurants, theaters, and pubs or even while driving for that matter. This might make it difficult for the Google Glass to sell as easily as Android wear.

The more convenient and practical device is definitely the watch-shaped Android Wear device. It doesn’t stand out and blends it perfectly with any wardrobe.

Nonetheless, Android Wear promoters like Motorola and LG have adequate room to convince consumers to adopt Android wear. There are rumors that Motorola will deliver the Moto 360 without charge (on contract) with the next smartphone.
